4Monica Lewinsky Shared Powerful New Advice On Resilience After a Setback. Once the butt of a lot of jokes, Monica offers excellent advice on bouncing back from public humiliation. 1) Take the time you need to heal. 2) Own your mistakes. 3) Lean on others for support. 4) Stay true to yourself. 5) Use humor, where appropriate. 6) Reach out to others who are struggling.

511 Genius Strategies to Finally Stop Procrastinating. The eighth one down in this article is my strategy of keeping two lists. One for on-going priorities. The other for daily ‘must-do’ tasks. On my daily agenda, I try to limit the number of action items from both lists to the six things that I can realistically finish that day.

Also, while we are talking about procrastination, I thought this would be a good companion article: Why You Procrastinate (It Has Nothing to Do With Self-Control.) And much to do with managing your challenging emotions and negative moods, which can lead to chronic stress and health issues that you do not want.

6How Fasting and Exercise Can Supercharge the Body’s Cellular Vacuum Cleaner. If you have been fasting for Lent in anticipation of Easter, you have likely gained more than its spiritual benefits. If you are wondering what the heck a cellular vacuum cleaner is, it is the body’s way of booting toxic proteins.

7The Passing of a Film Industry Icon, Director Agnès Varda. If you know your film history, you will know the name of this leading influencer of the French New Wave movement, from 1958 to the late 60s. Agnès Varda was the first female director to be awarded an honorary Oscar in 2017. Her last documentary, Beaches, was nominated for an Oscar this past year, making her the oldest person nominated for a competitive award. I actually spied this icon on television sitting in the audience during the awards. Agnès transitioned on March 29th at the young age of ninety. Cancer was the cause of death. Despite her struggle with this disease, Agnès was still editing a film the week before she took her last breath. God bless, may we all live that long and keep our passion for the work we love doing. In Agnès Varda's memory, please donate to Stand Up To Cancer.

8Why Is Easter So Late This Year? And even later if you are Eastern Orthodox. It has a lot to do with the calendar that is followed. The Roman Catholics and Protestants follow Pope Paul Gregory’s 1582 Gregorian lunar calendar, which celebrates Easter the Sunday of the first full moon on or before the start of spring, which is March 21st. The Eastern Orthodox church still follows Caesar’s 45 BC Julian solar calendar, which is thirteen days ahead. It is also timed to be a week after Passover. So, for those who celebrated Easter or Passover last weekend, and to those celebrating this weekend, I wish you much love and joy.

Also, for you history trivia buffs, here is a video on the origins of Easter eggs.

Happiness: The Art of Life Balance
As a longtime television producer, stress was my middle name. I have spent more than a decade studying what to do about it. Now, I work with professionals, especially those in the media, to help them get out of the crazy and into the happy (and yes, I still produce TV shows). I have put together a program that can fit into anyone’s schedule and can be joined anytime.

Challenge

Be still and listen.
Take 10 minutes today to sit quietly and just be.
Make space to notice inward stillness.
